Connect Instagram
- Open Instagram auto-DM in your dashboard.
- Choose Connect your Instagram and log in. You're letting MintLink read comments and send DMs on your behalf.
Create a rule
The setup walks you through five steps:
- Post: pick which post the rule watches.
- Trigger words: the words that start a DM, like
link,priceorguide. - Product: the MintLink product to send. Its link is added to the DM automatically.
- DM: the message people receive.
- Public reply (optional): a short reply under their comment, like "Check your DM 📩".
Review the rule and switch it on.
Good to know
- One DM per person, per post. If someone comments again on the same post, they don't get a second DM.
- Your own comments never trigger a DM.
- Instagram doesn't send us every comment. Comments from private, brand-new or possibly-spam accounts can be held back by Instagram, and we can't reply to a comment we never receive.
- Testing a rule? Comment from a public account that has been active for a while and hasn't already commented on that post.
