Refunds and cancellations
How refunds work for downloads, event tickets and order-based services.
How a refund works depends on what was bought.
Digital products
Once a digital product has been delivered, it can't be returned, so refunds aren't guaranteed. We do look at cases like duplicate payments, failed delivery or technical errors, and work them out case by case. The buyer should contact support with their order ID.
A buyer whose download link expired doesn't need a refund. They can request a fresh link. See Download your purchase.
Event tickets
When an organiser cancels an event, refunds follow the cancellation policy the organiser set on the event, which can give different percentages depending on the date. MintLink applies it and emails attendees.
Review My Work
The buyer's payment is held until the order completes. If the creator misses the delivery deadline, the buyer is refunded in full.
Freelance Services
The buyer's payment is held from purchase until the order completes, and only then released to the seller. Problems with an order are handled through support.
MintLink Plus
Plus follows the same digital-goods policy. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Plus until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Still stuck? Send us a ticket and include the order ID or product name. That's the fastest way to get it sorted.
