Sell memberships

Plans for gyms, run clubs, class packs, coaching and communities, with member cards and front-desk check-in.

Memberships are for anything people pay for by the period, like a monthly gym plan, a quarterly coaching batch, a 10-class pack or a yearly club membership.

Create a plan

  1. Open Memberships → Create a membership plan.
  2. Pick what you're creating (fitness, coaching, community and so on). This only pre-fills sensible settings, and you can change all of them.
  3. Set the price and the period: weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly.
  4. Choose how the plan works:
    • Door access: members get a scannable member card, and you check them in at the desk.
    • Sessions included: leave it unlimited, or set a number for a class pack.
    • Let members pause their membership: members can freeze their plan for up to the number of days you allow.
  5. Publish, and share the plan's link.

How renewals work

Before a membership runs out, MintLink emails the member a one-tap renewal link. If they renew, their membership carries on. If they don't, it expires at the end of the period they paid for. Cancelling stops the reminders, but the member keeps access until the days they've paid for run out.

GST

If you're GST registered, switch on Add GST to this membership. Only turn this on if you're actually registered.

Checking members in

Open Member check-in and scan the member's card with your phone camera. To let your team run check-in without your login, add them under Desk staff, or pair a tablet at the front desk under Desk device.

Keeping members

Member retention shows who's renewing, whose plan is about to expire and who has lapsed, so you can reach out before they drift away.
