Fees
Exactly what MintLink deducts from a sale, and what you keep. No setup fee, no subscription.
There's no setup fee and no monthly subscription. When you make a paid sale, MintLink deducts 8.26% in total, and you keep 91.74%.
What the 8.26% is made of
| Deduction | Rate |
|---|---|
| Platform fee | 5% of the sale price |
| GST on the platform fee | 18% of that fee (0.90% of the sale) |
| Payment gateway fee | 2% of the sale price |
| GST on the gateway fee | 18% of that fee (0.36% of the sale) |
| Total | 8.26% |
The two GST lines are tax. MintLink collects it and pays it to the government, so it isn't MintLink's revenue. You get a monthly GST invoice for it, and if you're GST registered you can claim it back as input credit.
Worked example: a ₹100 sale
| Amount | |
|---|---|
| Sale price | ₹100.00 |
| Platform fee | − ₹5.00 |
| GST on platform fee | − ₹0.90 |
| Gateway fee | − ₹2.00 |
| GST on gateway fee | − ₹0.36 |
| You earn | ₹91.74 |
Small sales (₹10 or less)
On a sale of ₹10 or less, the platform fee is a flat ₹1 instead of 5%. GST and the gateway fee still apply as normal.
Does it differ by product?
The same 8.26% applies to digital products, paid event tickets, memberships, Review My Work orders and fan support. There are two exceptions:
- Free event tickets have no fee at all.
- Freelance Services: the buyer also pays a 2% buyer fee plus GST on top of the package price.
The minimum price for a digital product is ₹5. Every sale shows its exact deductions line by line in Money history.
